Ready for Norway’s highest uphill race

Did you reach your best shape for skyracing and exercising earlier this year? Now you have the opportunity to use this at your advantage for a spectacular experience: Norway’s highest uphill race, running up to and altitude of 1851 meters above sea level, and all the way back down again. On the 24th of august, you’ll also have the opportunity to hike the distance as well.

The start and finish line of the races is in Melchiorgarden in the village of Norddal, and will follow the same path up towards Rellingsetra. The participants who’s entered to go hiking will start at Rellingsetra. We’ve set up free transport to Rellingsetra from the parking at Hatlestad.

Lars Åkernes Rimereit set the record last year, finishing the race in 2:44:16. Marcus Megrund (216) came in 2nd, whilst Jonas Hesthaug (212) came in 3rd.

Norddal idrettslag welcomes everyone to a great day in a world heritage area surrounded by beautiful mountains and fjords. This will be a fun experience for both old and young.
